Can every windshield be repaired, or does it sometimes need to be replaced?
We repair chips ≤ 6 cm and outside the driver’s field of vision and ADAS cameras. Larger cracks, damage in the line of sight or > 3 chips require windshield replacement.
How long does a standard windshield replacement take?
Usually 1.5–3 hours, depending on the model and number of sensors. After installation, we recommend waiting approx. 60 minutes for the adhesive to set.
When can I safely drive away after replacement?
After a minimum of 60 minutes. At very low temperatures, it is advisable to extend this time to 90 minutes.
What is ADAS calibration and why is it necessary?
Calibration restores the factory settings of cameras and radars in the new windshield so that safety systems (Lane Assist, AEB, etc.) work properly. It is mandatory after every windshield replacement with a camera.
How long does ADAS calibration take?
The process itself takes 30–60 minutes. If we combine it with a windshield replacement, the entire visit takes about 3–4 hours.
What is the difference between static and dynamic calibration?
Static calibration takes place in a hall with calibration boards; dynamic calibration requires a test drive at a set speed. The method is specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
Do you install original or replacement windows?
We offer OEM and certified premium replacements (Pilkington, Sekurit Saint-Gobain, AGC, NordGlass, Fuyao). We advise on the best option in terms of price, availability, and equipment (e.g., HUD, sensors).
What warranty do I get for the service?
Lifetime warranty for windshield tightness and installation, and 30 days for ADAS calibration.
Can I settle the damage with my liability or comprehensive insurance?
Yes. We work with most insurance companies on a cashless basis and take care of all the paperwork.
What vehicles do you service?
Passenger cars, SUVs, buses, trucks, and fleets. We have stations adapted to vehicles with increased height (up to 3.20 m).
Can I repair a chip in the rain or frost?
Yes – we work in a heated, closed hall, so weather conditions are not a problem.
How can I pay for the service?
We accept cash, payment cards, BLIK, and bank transfers.
Does protective film on the windshield affect repair or replacement?
It is not possible to repair chips under the film – the film must be removed. When replacing the windshield, we can immediately install new PPF film.
How should I care for the window after replacement?
Avoid pressure washing for 24 hours and do not slam the doors with the windows closed. After 48 hours, you can return to full use.
Will the chip repair be invisible?
Approximately 80% of the mark will disappear; a small spot may remain. The repair restores strength and stops the crack from spreading, but does not always completely remove the visual mark.
Can I wait and work while the repair is being carried out?
Yes – we have a customer area with Wi-Fi, coffee and a workstation.
What happens to the old windshield?
